Scuba Diving Costa Rica
Yellow Puffer Costa Rica - Rich Coast DivingCosta Rica is located in the heart of Central America and is border on its eastern side by the Caribbean Sea on the western by the Pacific Ocean. It takes about 3 ½ hours to drive from coast to coast or you can fly in about 45 minutes. Coast Rica has only about 0.1% of the world’s land mass but makes up 5% of the worlds biodiversity. In 1970 as forests were disappearing there was a growing acknowledgment that something unique and lovely was vanishing, and a systematic effort was begun to save what was left of the wilderness. Today Costa Rica is considered one of the most bio-diverse regions in the world and is home to 20 natural parks, 8 biological reserves, and a series of protected areas that captivate ecotourism lovers. Temperatures are generally mild year round (75f-90f) and there are really only two main seasons, the rainy season from May to November and the dry season from December to April.
